Finding opportunities for change

We began out of Create-X capstone building edge AI security devices for nurses in emergency departments.

What started out as a personal vendetta to seeing our family members come home with bruises and scrapes from attacks, was when we set sail on our first mission.

We won Create-X Capstone’s 2nd Best Capstone Design Award and published a working prototype that successfully used natural language processing and sensing to score risk.

Despite an amazing feedback loop with the nurses themselves. Institutional factors in the healthcare industry led us to rethink how we solve problems and who we solve problems for.

A lot of the time it’s not that someone isn’t capable of solving the world’s problems, it naturally always comes down to the ability to enact change.
